The LED is the future
The old lighting technologies such as incandescent lamps, halogen lamps and energy-saving lamps have had their day. LED technology offers an incredible number of advantages and has, therefore, become established in many areas of life. However, new technology has also become much more complex due to the many possibilities. When buying LED bulbs and lights you have to consider many things in order not to be disappointed afterwards.
My mission
I am Oliver Forrest and I will help you to understand modern LED lighting.
As an electrical engineer, I would like to make the often complex topics in LED technology understandable for everyone. I would like to share my knowledge and practical experience from my own conversion to LED lighting with other people on this website.
From a hobby to a side project
This website was originally started as a hobby project. To cover the not inconsiderable costs for the operation and development of the site, moderate advertising is now integrated at suitable locations. The website is therefore now continued on a part-time basis with a few helping hands. It is important to mention, however, that the advertising partners will not have any influence on the topics covered.
